Billing and Health Fund Information

At EC Podiatry & Physiotherapy, we offer podiatry and physiotherapy services to NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) participants who have podiatry, foot care, physiotherapy and rehabilitation supports in their plan. If you have a disability that affects your feet, ankles or legs, you may be eligible for podiatry and foot care supports from the NDIS. If you have a disability that affects your movement, strength, endurance, pain management, stability and ability to participate in activities that you wish to, you may be eligible for physiotherapy from the NDIS. You will need to contact your service provider to see if you are eligible.

At EC Podiatry & Physiotherapy, we offer podiatry and physiotherapy services to aged care participants who receive subsidies and supplements from the Australian Government. If you are an approved participant of home care, residential aged care or flexible care, you may be eligible for subsidies and supplements for podiatry and physiotherapy services. Please contact your My Aged Care provider to see if you are eligible. We are able to provide a wide range of services including general foot care management, diabetic foot management, acute and chronic pain management, falls risk management, equipment prescription and applications, as well as improving strength, mobility, endurance and balance.

At EC Podiatry & Physiotherapy, we are proud to offer podiatry services to DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) Gold and White Card holders. If you have a DVA Gold Card, you are eligible for podiatry and physiotherapy services for all conditions. If you have a DVA White Card, you are eligible for podiatry and physiotherapy services for specific, accepted service-related conditions. You will need to get a referral from your GP before proceeding.

Our podiatrists and physiotherapists are registered with DVA and can provide you with a treatment plan that meets your clinical needs.

We are committed to delivering high-quality podiatry services to our DVA clients and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. We will not charge you any fees or co-payments for our services. We will directly bill DVA on your behalf.

At EC Podiatry & Physiotherapy, we offer podiatry services to patients who are eligible for Medicare rebates. If you have a chronic or terminal condition and complex care needs, you may be eligible for a Medicare referral from your GP called an Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC). This referral provides a rebate for up to 5 Medicare allied health appointments per calendar year.

Our podiatrists and physiotherapists are registered with Medicare and can provide you with a treatment plan that meets your clinical needs.

We offer mixed billing for our services. For standard appointments, you pay the full fee on the day and we claim the Medicare rebate on your behalf and this will go directly into your bank account. The Medicare rebate applies only to the consultation fee, and any additional services will incur an out-of-pocket expense. Please ensure you bring a bank card attached to a cheque or savings account.
