Our Services

We specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions. We can help with general foot care by providing routine check-ups, trimming toenails, and treating corns, calluses, and other foot-related issues. We also help with diabetic foot care by monitoring the patient’s feet for any signs of nerve damage, poor circulation, or infections. We provide advice on proper footwear, prescribe custom orthotics to prevent foot ulcers, and perform regular foot exams to detect any changes in the patient’s feet. It is important for people with diabetes to see a podiatrist at least once a year to help reduce their risk of lower limb complications.

We help with sports injury rehabilitation by providing the following services:

  • Assessing the biomechanics and function of the feet and lower limbs during walking, running and other sports activities
  • Identifying the cause and mechanism of the injury and providing a personalised treatment plan
  • Prescribing exercises, stretches, taping, strapping, orthotics and footwear modifications to improve alignment, stability, mobility and performance
  • Providing advice on injury prevention, recovery, return to sport and optimal performance
  • Collaborating with other health professionals such as physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, dietitians and psychologists to ensure a holistic approach to rehabilitation

Balance is an important aspect of foot and lower limb health, especially for older people who may struggle with mobility and balance issues. We can help with balance by providing the following services:

  • Assessing the biomechanics and function of the feet and lower limbs during walking, running and other activities
  • Identifying any problems that may affect balance, such as foot deformities, muscle weakness, joint stiffness, nerve damage or poor circulation
  • Prescribing exercises, stretches, taping, strapping, orthotics and footwear modifications to improve balance, stability and posture
  • Providing advice on fall prevention, home safety and appropriate footwear choices
  • Collaborating with other health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and geriatricians to ensure a holistic approach to balance improvement

If you are concerned about your balance or have a history of falls, podiatry can help you reduce the risk of injury and improve your quality of life.
